Virtual staging guide

What virtual staging costs per photo and per listing

The number that matters is not the price per image, it is the price per listing — and that depends on how many rooms you stage and how many styles you try. Here is the arithmetic, using our own prices, so you can run it against any tool.

How many images a listing actually needs

  • A three-bedroom house typically shows five to seven staged interiors: living room, dining area, kitchen and two or three bedrooms.
  • One hero image per room is enough for a portal; a second angle of the same room rarely earns a second click.
  • Bathrooms and hallways are styled rather than furnished, so they should not consume a full staging credit.

One style or two

  • A single style across the whole listing reads as one coherent home and is what most sales listings need.
  • A second style is worth it only when the property is being marketed to two different buyers, such as a family and a rental investor.
  • Two styles across six rooms is twelve images, which changes the pack you should buy.

The arithmetic on our packs

  • Starter: five images for $15, which covers a compact flat at $3.00 per image.
  • Listing: fifteen images for $39, which covers a three-bedroom house in two styles at $2.60 per image.
  • Agency: fifty images for $99, which covers three or four addresses at $1.98 per image — the point at which per-listing cost stops being the constraint.

What changes the price elsewhere

  • Per-image tools charge once per room, so a six-room listing costs six times the headline rate.
  • Subscription tools look cheaper per image until a month passes without a listing to stage.
  • Restyles billed as new images turn a two-style comparison into a doubled bill.

Staging keeps the walls, windows and camera angle of your photograph; only the furnishing is added. Upload the room and the frame comes back at the resolution you sent.
