Virtual staging guide
Virtual staging for a condo listing
Condo buyers are comparing square metres and light. The mistake in staging a compact unit is filling it to look generous; the room then photographs smaller than it is, and the listing loses the two things it was selling.
Protect the sightline
- Keep the corridor from the camera to the window clear of tall furniture — a clear path reads as depth.
- Nothing above waist height within the window reveal; a tall plant in front of glass erases the view.
- Leave the floor visible from the doorway to the far wall, even if that means one piece fewer.
Scale down, do not fill up
- A two-seat sofa beats a three-seat in any room under about 18 square metres.
- Use wall-mounted or narrow depth pieces to keep floor area readable.
- One rug, sized to the seating rather than the room, so the floor edge still shows.
What condo buyers check in the photo
- Where the bedroom door opens and whether a wardrobe will fit behind it.
- Whether the kitchen run leaves a walkway, not just how new it looks.
- Where the balcony starts — a staged chair half out of frame implies space that is not there.

Staging keeps the walls, windows and camera angle of your photograph; only the furnishing is added. Upload the room and the frame comes back at the resolution you sent.
