Virtual staging

Real estate photo editor for listing photos

Open a listing photo, fix the light and the horizon, and download it at the size you shot it. Everything runs in your browser: the photo is never uploaded, and the download keeps the original pixel dimensions.

JPEG, PNG or WebP. Edits apply to the full-resolution image.

What each control fixes in a listing photo

Problem in the photoControlWhat it does
Yellow cast from tungsten bulbs, blue cast from window lightAuto fix, WarmthAuto fix balances the average colour of the mid-tones to neutral grey, then Warmth fine-tunes it toward warm or cool.
Green cast from fluorescent tubes or a green wallTintMoves the image between green and magenta.
Dark room shot against a bright windowExposure, Shadows liftExposure brightens the whole frame in photographic stops; Shadows lift raises dark areas while leaving bright areas close to where they were.
Flat, grey phone photoAuto fix, ContrastAuto fix stretches the tones so the darkest 0.5% reaches black and the brightest 0.5% reaches white; Contrast adds or removes punch.
Tilted horizon or leaning door framesStraighten + gridRotates up to 10° either way and crops just enough to remove the blank corners, keeping the original pixel size.

Edit, then stage

Correct the light and the horizon first, then stage. A balanced, level photo of an empty room gives the staging model clean walls and floor lines to work from, and the furniture it adds matches the light in the room. Download the edited JPEG here and upload it to the staging tool. See what virtual staging costs per photo across providers.

MLS rules for edited photos

Brightness, white balance, contrast and straightening are standard photo corrections: they change how the room is lit in the picture, not what is in the room. Adding furniture is a different category, and most MLS rules require a label and the original photo alongside it. See virtual staging MLS rules for the published policies.
